It was just... Beyond completely amazing, it was also completely natural. It wasn't just thinking that he'd kissed someone before, it was the fact that it was Billy, like they'd done this kind of thing so many times before, so much that his own heart and body remembers what his mind can't.
So when they break away, Teddy loosens one of their hands so that he can rest his palm against Billy's cheek. He'd taken a breath before the kiss, sure, but these thoughts in his head, the emotions in his chest, everything is making him draw in air almost as desperately as Billy.]
I think I might know too.

There it was. That's the word that encompasses everything he's feeling right now. With Teddy, he feels safe. Safe to be himself, to be free with his words, to be touched. What he'd felt back then is the same as what he's feeling now; all he's missing are the memories to fully justify that feeling.
This is good. This is right. He leans in for another kiss, with air this time, not caring about where they are or what they're doing or whether or not they should. It's what he wants, and that's what matters.]

It's the first thing that flashes through Teddy's mind when Billy kisses him again, and why not? If what the two of them think is correct, then they were likely together before this whole memory wipe started. And now they found each other again, even without knowing who the other was.
There has to be something powerful there for that to happen.
Teddy slides his hand from Billy's cheek to his hair, where he tangles his fingers in the strands and keeps him close. He feels utterly at ease, despite his heart thumping in his chest. It's safe, with Billy. Teddy might be a shapeshifter with the ability to change into anything, even something hideous like earlier, but Billy still liked him all the same. Teddy is weird and a geek and a little quiet, but Billy still liked him.
It's amazing, finding someone who loves you for everything that you are and everything that you aren't and everything that you can be. And, just like Billy, Teddy could care less where they are of what people think or just what's going on. This is right.
But after a moment, Teddy does break the kiss, if only for much needed air, and he presses his forehead against Billy's, slightly out of breath again.]
Should we... get back to the apartment? [If only because YEAH, they are out in the open and it'd be much better to do this sort of thing in private.]

[Billy releases a bit of breathless laughter, warm against Teddy's lips. He doesn't want to move, he's so comfortable right now, but they really need to go.]
You're kind of a mess, you need to get cleaned up.
[His hand slides over to Teddy's shoulders, noting the ripped clothes, the bloodstains, even though, rather miraculously, the wounds are healed. It takes a tremendous amount of effort, but he finally manages to force himself back, rising to his feet and offering his hand out to Teddy to help him up as well, even if he's strong enough not to need it. He just really likes the idea of walking hand in hand right now, blood be damned. They're happy, so who cares what they look like right now?]
