After the wings and the part about other worlds existing, I guess I've started to expect this place to be a little different from Auldrant.

A little different... [More like REALLY different. But... he lets out a sigh.]

... I guess so. And it's not like this place is... too bad or anything. [Sure, it's bad. But it could be much worse.]

That's right. And we're not alone here, either. We'll eventually figure out more ways to work around the unpleasant parts.

[Heh. That's a new one.] Then maybe you should consider taking up flying once you've finished everything you have to do.

It's because you can't panic when you're in the cockpit. After a few close calls, you learn not to worry over what you can't correct or change, and if you can fix it, you just fix it. Pretty soon you start looking at other things the same way.

[After a second he adds thoughtfully:] ...I wouldn't say I'm calm about everything, though.

[Ginji can think of a few times, but maybe Luke doesn't remember. Or maybe he's gotten pretty good at holding it in. Whatever the case, Ginji just chuckles quietly.]

Hang in there. If you all can change the world, I'm sure we can at least make it through winter and anything else that comes along between now and then.

I know you will. [He has faith in them, even if Luke's not so sure. You all saved his life during an otherwise pointless venture to retrieve a key item you would have gotten either way.]

And sure, it's not like I plan to quit anytime soon. Let's do our best.
