[Despite the fact that Luke's only taken a couple of bites and made rather interesting faces in response to the textures, he still grins when Xion thanks him. He can tell she's appreciative, from the way she scarfs down her food - actually scarfs it down! - to how she thanked him.

He'll just set his fork down and likely not touch his plate again.]

I-It's the least I can do. I mean, you've been away for so long... Mission food must suck.

[ Sigh. She knows. She'll stand and begin to clean up as she replies. ]

It's not so bad... it's just kind of plain. It sorts of reminds me of the food back home... [ Thoughtfully. Food was not so much food in The World That Never Was as "useful rations." ]

Good thing you've got me here, then. And your dad, too. You can visit him later.

[He lets out a yawn of his own as he stands and begins to clean his own side of the table, though he isn't sure what he's supposed to do with his unfinished food. Sanji would kill him for wasting it, but he'd already taken bites of it and he doesn't think he'll eat anymore later... Eh. Might as well save it anyway.]

How about we both go back to sleep? This time in our own bed.

[ She replies in the middle of a yawn, distorting her words. ] But I want to know what I've missed...

[ Luke plz convince her to sleep. ]

I'll tell you later, all right? [He stops for a moment, if only to lean over and kiss her cheek.] If I tried telling you now, I'd probably fall asleep in the middle of it. [Or she would. And he'd either be mildly insulted or endeared. Or both.]

[ She just yawns again and concedes, leaning against him. ]

Okay. Later. Come on, let's go back. [ She tilts her head up to smile warmly at him. ]

Yeah. Before you get hit with more yawn attacks.

[He grins and wraps an arm around her shoulders before he leads her back to their apartment and, most importantly, their bed. 8| They really could both use the sleep.]

I'm really happy you're back, Xion.

[ She wraps an arm around his waist in turn, luxuriating in the warmth of him. It's nice, after missing him for a whole month. ] Me too. [ She presses a warm kiss to his jaw, letting him lead all the way back to their room. ]
