Oh... thanks. [Now let's just hope it's not like the cake she made him. Or isn't bitter. Luke has specific tastes okay. But he does take them gratefully, setting the packets aside on a small table for now.] I'll drink some later.

[He rubs the back of his neck and holds out his other arm to gesture towards the apartment, though weakly.] You can just sit anywhere. Asch isn't here right now.

...sure. [She'll go ahead and take a seat on the nearest chair. Upon hearing Asch's name she's instantly reminded of the other situation that happened a few weeks ago and is almost tempted to ask, but... maybe not now.]

Mmm. [He sits on the couch, though he leans heavily on the arm of it.] I still feel really lousy. Dammit, I hate being sick... it's always such a pain.

Definitely. [Not that she gets sick often, thankfully, but.] You were in such bad shape the other day... I'm glad you managed to get home as soon as you did.

[Well... he wasn't home as fast as he wanted to. There was still going to the clinic...

That's still heavily on his mind, but it's not something he wants to talk about. So, he just pauses before speaking up again.]

Yeah... Now I need to take medicine for a while. I hate medicine.

Thanks... [He sinks down in his chair more and rests his head against the arm of the couch more. Ugh, he wants to just fall asleep right here... He coughs quietly, just being miserable. Aaah, it's embarrassing being like this in front of Noel... but he feels like he can't even sit up.]

Sure, if you want to. ... I don't think I can eat anything more than soup right now. [Which sucks. He gets sick of soup so fast when he's sick.]

[! She can be useful!!] Okay! I'll make whatever you want!

... Just soup. [She can't possibly mess that up, right?]

Yes, but what kind of soup? [Tell her!!!]

Maybe... chicken, or something? I don't know... ... Maybe I'll wait for Asch to get back, he's been cooking for me all this time.

[BUT LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE] Are... Are you sure? I really wouldn't mind! I love cooking!

[Trust her.]

... Actually, I just want to talk. Is that okay with you?
